When we set out to support a local charity, we wanted to
find an organisation that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. That’s
why we’re proud to support East Cheshire Hospice..
Since 1988, East Cheshire Hospice has provided compassionate care for adults facing life-limiting illnesses across Macclesfield, Buxton, Congleton, High Legh, High Peak, Knutsford, Poynton, Wilmslow, and surrounding areas. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families through expert medical treatment, emotional support, and spiritual care.
The Hospice’s services range from practical assistance to emotional and spiritual support, along with social and family services, counselling, complementary therapies, and much more.
Its Macclesfield premises include a 15-bed Inpatient Unit and the Sunflower Living Well Centre for outpatient services. The Hospice @Home service also brings specialist care into patients’ homes and provides out-of-hours support.
Community-Funded Compassion
One of the most remarkable aspects of East Cheshire Hospice
is that all their services are provided free of charge. However, only 21% of
their funding comes from the government. The remaining £9,362 needed each day
is raised through the generosity of the local community.
This means that every donation, no matter how small, plays a
crucial role in sustaining the hospice's vital services. Whether it's a

patients and their families receive the care and comfort they need during
challenging times.
